Charity Seeds was created shortly after a good friend unexpectedly lost his wife to cancer. Being disabled, on a limited income, he was not only faced with the task of burying his wife, and the endless medical bills that were coming, but also to care for their children. I decided to help by auctioning off my entire seed collection. With the combined effort of the community we were able to raise enough funds to pay off the medical bills and keep the entire family together under one roof. Over time, we developed an outstanding group of supporters, and donated to other families in need of financial help. I decided to continue this idea and vision, and working with other breeders I put the rest of the funds into building inventory. This simple gesture of love and wanting to offer a helping hand has grown to much more. As a community, we have created and developed the first Nonprofit seedbank.

Charity Seeds is now setting the bar for quality of service, and the idea of uniting the community. Charity Seeds is not solely owned, it was created, and will continue to grow as a bank for the people, were you can reap what you sow, and get back what you put in.
